About Megan Davies

Megan Davies

Megan Davies is an independent recording artist, songwriter, producer and classically trained guitarist based in Nashville, TN. She first gained popularity for her creative acoustic covers & mashups on YouTube, collaborating with her sister & other local artist friends in Nashville. Since then her music has enjoyed over 750+ million streams & views across all digital platforms, Sirius XM radio play and TV and commercial placements. Much of her music is self-produced in her home studio in Nashville.

While Megan enjoys producing covers, her passion lies in writing and performing her own original music. Her debut original project, "Bad Poetry" EP, was released in 2017. This was followed by several singles released between 2018–2020. Acoustic versions of these songs were released on her "Acoustic Collections" EP in 2020. Her original music has been premiered by Parade Magazine & Billboard and has been played extensively on Sirius XM's The Coffee House. In 2020, Megan released "Christmas with You" a stripped-down holiday EP.

Megan has toured both nationally and internationally playing hundreds of shows and festivals. She has headlined and opened for artists including Boyce Avenue, Striking Matches, Madilyn Bailey, Noah Guthrie, & Josh Turner. March 2019 was spent overseas in Europe where she headlined her own "European Moonlight Tour."

Megan's most popular collaborator has been her sister, Jaclyn, and their unique harmonies and creative arrangements have earned them hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. In 2015, their "See You Again, Love Me Like You Do, Sugar" mashup with Tasha Peter reached #1 on the Spotify Global Viral 50 and US Viral 50 charts. In early 2024, the sisters finally "formalized" their partnership and formed the pop/folk duo MEG + JAC. They have since released a mix of new covers and original music and supported Boyce Avenue on their 2024 US tour. Their "Love Me Here" EP of original music was released in June 2025. The collaboration continues to be a creative exploration as they are actively writing and releasing more music than ever.
